Success in the Congressional Elections

Postby Joe Memphis on Sat 26 Jun 2010, 17:24

Congratulations to all Worker's Party candidates who won in yesterday's congressional election. Our party now has four congressmen who control 10% of the legislature, a clear step up from the last elections (Pierre was our only congressman).

Might be wise to discuss that in parties private forums and not in public :)

Why would the fundamental points of a party have to be privately discussed?

Up to you of course but normally you discuss this internally, get an agreement what our main points are and then communicate this to the world.

But as I said, up to you :)

Isn't the point of Social democracy or Democratic socialism, to 'as a party' stand close and give insight to the nation itself?

We are neither a "social democratic" or a "democratic socialist" party, we are a worker's party. :P

And it's a general procedure to discuss your opinions inside your party and then unite it in one opinion towards the outside of the nation. It prevents the party from falling apart because of problems and people from the outside encouraging things like that.
